Miguel Angel Morales

Miguel Ángel Morales, or Mike as many knew him, was born in the southern town of Arroyo, Puerto Rico on December 14, 1958 and began to rest in peace on August 20, 2023 at the age of 64 in Brooklyn, New York to join his parents Bonifacio and Margarita Morales and brother Joe Molina in heaven. Even during his final days, Miguel maintained his strength to care for those around him. 

Throughout his life, Miguel built and nourished a vibrant home with fresh sunflowers and tomatoes, along with the tenacity to face adversity. You would see him working with his plants on any given day. Miguel also shared a deep passion for his home country of Puerto Rico, La Isla Del Encanto. He loved sports, especially baseball and fishing. 

Miguel is survived by his loving wife Helen, daughter Becky, dog Ice, and grand-dog(daugh)ter Cinnamon; and brothers Juan Morales, Tony Morales, Eddie Morales and sisters Annie Morales and Maria Rodriguez; and his nieces and nephews: Christina and Delia Morales; Yahaira Morales; Joseph and Jeremy Molina; Andrew, Matthew and Emily Morales; and Caridad and Raymond O’Neill.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 24th at the Las Rosas Funeral Home, 761 4th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11232 from 5pm-9pm. Cremation will be private.
