Juanita Diaz

Juanita Diaz, age 95 transitioned on November 24th, 2021 comfortably at NY Presbyterian Methodist Hospital. Juanita was born on July 25th, 1926 in Santa Isabel, San Juan. She had 2 sisters, Nilda & Maria. Juanita had 12 children- Manuel, Tomas, Awilda, Nereida, Sylvia, Robert, Orlando, Jeanette, Miriam, Raymond, Alicia and Tina. 

Juanita was a strong woman, known for her loving spirit and generosity. She worshiped God and was an active member of the Visitation of Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Red Hook where she resided. She devoted much of her time and energy as the primary caregiver to her family. Her charm and smile brightened rooms, as well as people's lives. 

Juanita is survived by an abundance of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great - great grandchildren along with three nieces, a nephew, great nieces, great- great nieces and nephews. Juanita spent her latest years in the company of her loving family. Juanita will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed.
