Jose L Padillo

Jose Luis Padillo was born in Brooklyn, NY on February 21, 1953. His family and friends called him Jay. He was a loving brother, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was known for his sarcastic humor, his infectious smile and his kind and compassionate spirit. Jay was also very stubborn and refused to listen to any doctor’s advised as well as his family’s. He lived his life the way he wanted to and on his own terms. Jay loved visiting Atlantic City, NJ and hitting the slot machines. He lived for short while with his family is Daytona where he had his own slot machine and enjoyed going to Bike Week. But in the summer months he would be in NY with his family and you would mostly find him in Park slope Brooklyn and in every street fair and free salsa concerts that was taking place all over the borough. Jay survived by his sons Jesus and Jose Jr. and his daughter Patricia and 11 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, as well and his sisters, Iris, Teresa, Martha, and brothers Carlos, Pedro and Moises. Viewing is Sunday, September 29, 2019 from 12 noon to 5 p.m.
