Filomena Sierra

Filomena Sierra, age 87 of Brooklyn, NY passed away peacefully on February 22, 2017.
Born on July 5, 1929 in Juncos, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of Esteban and Francesca Delgado.
Filomena lived in Brooklyn for 66 years.  Her favorite pastime was spending time with her family and watching her novellas. She was preceded in death by parents, Esteban and Francesca, her husband Felix in 2002, grandson Daniel Moschel, sisters Ramona and Rosa and son-in-law Jose Gonzalez.
Those left to cherish her memories are her siblings: Antonio Delgado, and sister, Gregoria Marquez. Her cherished children: Iris Moschel, Iris’s husband William, Yolanda Gonzalez, Norma Soto, Norma’s husband Jose, Felix and Hector. As well as her beloved grandchildren: Jason Castro, Bryan Moschel, Bryan’s wife Theresa, Katherine Moschel, Erica Soto, Jared and Jaclyn Gonzalez. Her beloved great-grandchildren: Charlotte and Veronica Castro, and Luke Moschel.
A public visitation will be held from 3-8 PM, Sunday, February 26, 2017 at Las Rosas Funeral Home, 761 4th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY Funeral service will be held on Monday, February 27, 2017, 9 A.M. at the funeral home with internment at Greenwood Cemetery.
Donations may be made on her behalf to St Jude's hospital.
